14-10-2022 – Apeiron Bound releases musicvideo for Absent Familiarity through The Progspace!

Fans of heavier progressive metal have been latching on to Apeiron Bound‘s new album ‘Multiplicity’ like crazy since it’s release and to celebrate this, the band now launched a new music video for the song Absent Familiarity!

And thanks to our friends at The Progspace, the video is getting an exclusive premiere through their website!

The band’s main writer and guitarist Andrew Stout explains what the song and video are about, saying:

“Absent Familiarity is a tale that explores themes of narcissism and the delusions of granduer through the protagonist. As the story progresses, you see them commit a series of actions that go from using others for their personal gain to flaunting their ego in a way that hurts their relationships. At some point, the protagonist goes through a crossroads led by their choices. This is the story of a person that chooses to unapologetically maintain that toxicity.”

The music video might be different from what you would normally expect from a progmetal music video but that is also exactly why we at Layered Reality are excited about it!
